Deregulation has opened up a market in Pennsylvania for customers to get cheaper power generation rates on their energy bills.
We recently signed up and changed the PPL "generation" portion of our bill from 10.48 cents/KWH to 8.9 cents/KWH for the next year by choosing another supplier. PPL will still provide us our only energy bill and continue to be the entity to call for any service issues.
