Bears and Bobcats
Word on the streets of Pennwood is that there are a number of bears of considerable size wandering about the community. BEWARE: One male bear in particular has been said to be 400-500 lbs. There is also a female with 1-2 cubs. The bears generally are making the rounds on "garbage nights" and leaving a trail of trash behind. So with that said; please be sure to "not feed the bears" by putting out your garbage the night before pick-up and consider removing hummingbird feeders. If you are a part-time resident and cannot put trash out same day or take it with you; then please be sure to "bear proof" your garbage cans and make arrangements with someone to monitor and clean up your possible debree if the garbage cans get breached.
Oh yeah and there are bobcats too. So watch your small pets!
