A little rain didn't dampen the spirits of those who attended THE PENNWOOD PICNIC OF 2012!! I tip my umbrella to one and all who attended! We +/-20 seized the 3 hour rain reprieve; brought our chairs, good cheer, and GREAT food down to the Point and dined in high style on high ground! : ) We almost forgot it was going to rain again, but as we watched the storm slowly make its way towards us from across the lake; we decided to just move the party to my house! We continued under cover of our open garage until late into the night! Feeling like you missed out? Yeah, ya kinda did. : ( but its ok...we're gonna do it all again August 25th, Winetasting at the Point! So mark your calendars and bring your guests!! This event is fast becoming the community social event of the year!!! Don't miss it!
BTW (By the way), did you know there's a DRIVE IN MOVIE THEATER nearby??? Its up in Dickson City just past Wegmans Supermarket!!! Open April - October!
