IMPORTANT NOTICE: Docks are currently tight to the shore because of the low water level due to dam repair and the unusually dry winter. Our dock contractor, Seeley's Marina will not be able to adjust the docks as the water level rises to normal. Therefore, it is imperative that Pennwood boat owners with slips close to shore, take responsiblity for regularly inspecting the depth of the water at their slips to ensure clearance of the hull and the propeller!!! SO, PLEASE STAY ALERT!!!
Also, boats, jet skis or any other watercraft CANNOT be tied up at the entrance of the docks as in previous years....THIS IS A PPL REGULATION THAT TAKES EFFECT NOW!!!....ANYONE THAT VIOLATES THIS WILL HAVE THEIR BOAT REMOVED AT THEIR EXPENSE. Yikes!
And finally, our esteemed Dockmaster Ralph and his team are attempting to revamp approaches to some of the docks, especially C,D and F docks. Your patience is appreciated.
